11. Charles Vane
Active in 1700 to 1725 he was English pirate. Active in East coast of North America and also Caribbean and Bahamas. When a Spanish Treasure fleet got hit by hurricane they attracted many pirates like bees to the plunder site. Charles Vane was first one there and his crew took 87000 pounds in gold and silver. He was hung in Gallows Point in Port Royal and this soon marked the end of Golden Age of Piracy.
