20. Dr. Leonid Rogozov did surgery on himself! In 1967
He had appendicitis and he was only doctor who could do the surgery so he did. This was during a journey to the Arctic this Russian surgeon was going. After 2 hours of operation he ate sleeping pills and antibiotics and went to sleep. He was all good after two weeks.
