23. Japanese Macaque
Also called snow monkey. Native to Japan. No other primate lives in snow as much as them. They have a pinkish face and brown or greyish hair on the body. They like to make “coo” sounds when communicating. They are intelligent in that they wash their sweet potato in the river and learn from one another. They also visit Jigokundani monkey park to warm up in hot springs.
