The Great Pyramids
One of the seven wonders of the world, the Great Pyramid was built in Ancient Egypt, in the city of Cairo. It was built over 20 years and stands at 147 meter tall.
Like many of the famous landmarks in the world, the Great Pyramid was built as a tomb for the Pharaoh of the period, King Khufu. The pyramid was constructed around 2600 BC, over 4500 years ago.
