11. Whaleship Essex Crew
A sperm whale rammed a whaling ship on November 20, 1820, in the Pacific ocean. 21 Sailors left the boat on with little food. Chase was one of the survivors who kept a log of the events. The sailors had to drink their own urine and become cannibals in order to survive.
