15. A Soccer Team And Their Coach
A Thai soccer team and their coach entered explored Tham Luang Cave one of Thailand’s longest cave. A flash flood pushed them to an elevated platform 4 km into the cave and they had to survive 17 days with no food and rely on stalactites for water. Since they knew they were trapped they began to take turns digging a 16-foot hole into the cave wall. A Thai navy seal entered the cave to give them company and assist in their rescue. In the course of 3 days, each player was taken out of the cave and their coach. Everyone survived, but one Thai Navy Seal died in the effort to rescue them.
