Sydney Opera House
It is Sidney, Australia’s most well-known attraction. It is a venue for the performing arts: opera, theatre, stage plays, and choir. In 2007, UNESCO designated the Opera House as World Heritage Site.
In 1957, Jørn Utzon, a Danish architect, won the competition for the design of the Sidney Opera House. The construction of the project was started in 1959, and officially opened on the 20th of October, in 1973.
